Every industry has it’s certification of excellence and competence. Some industries require a license or registration.

Until recently, the Computer Repair and Networking industry had many diverse certifications, primarily from equipment manufacturers. Several years ago, CompTIA was formed to create industry respected certifications in Computer Repair (A+)Network assisting (Server+) and administration (Network+) that are independent of any one manufacturer. These Certifications are currently the standard in the industry, and they validate that an employee has skills and the equivalent of six months of practical experience.

Our A+ Computer Repair courses are available at both beginner and intermediate starting levels. The entry-level course is 4 months (10 hours/week), the intermediate-starting-level course is 3 months (10 hours/week). We also offer individual and combined certification courses which last up to 12 months.

Text Box: A+ Computer Repair. The A+ certificate is the most popular and widely respected validation of computer technical repair skills. It demonstrates a competency equivalent to six months of computer repair experience. A+ students learn repair fundamentals, how operating systems work, and how to assemble a working computer from scratch. The course is comprised of an introductory computer repair class (for those with no prior experience), a 45 class-hour course with lab experience, apprenticeship in our repair facility, as well as marketing, and job placement guidance and follow-through. Our courses are well known for their lively, content, and our students are well prepared and confident to perform in the marketplace.
